The K. Sidrane team exhibited at the Private Label Manufacturer’s Association for the first time at the 2025 PLMA Live! Show. Four staff members spent November 17th and 18th browsing the show floor, talking to current customers and new prospects, all while learning about what is new in the world of private label. Hosted at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, PLMA Live! was two full days packed with exciting meet and greets, trendspotting and checking out an endless array of new products.
Our booth was located in the Skyhall so we spent the days surrounded by delicious food and beverage options. Other targeted areas at the show included health and wellness and a new products spotlight.
When exploring the show floor we continued to notice gusseted pouches trending as a top vehicle for selling food, especially snack products. Even certain products that were more surprising – like sauces and pickles—are being moved by certain manufacturers into pouches for packaging. It is an interesting trend to watch and we always look forward to seeing how it progresses and what new products can be found in a pouch year after year.
Though this is our first time exhibiting at the PLMA show, K. Sidrane’s involvement in the world of private label is well established. We work with numerous popular store brands to create new products and customized branded packaging on an ongoing basis.
According to the PLMA, 2024 store brands sales topped $271 billion, which was an all-time record. The website also notes that most individual categories of store brands experienced growth in sales last year. This is a huge industry and one that K. Sidrane looks forward to sharing continued growth within. We are already excited to come back for next year’s show!
